Dean Grayson

 

Head Coach and Founder, Pass Soccer Academy

Pass Soccer Academy was established by Head Coach Dean Grayson. His football experience spans 15 years. He has gained both playing and coaching experience at the highest level here in England where he played for clubs including Manchester United, Sheffield United, Bradford City, and Grimsby Town.

 

It was at these club academies where Dean developed a passion for not only playing football but also coaching young children of all ages.



During his playing career Dean was also lucky enough to represent County and District in FA National finals and was selected for National boys’ club trials. The experience Dean has gained working with some of the best coaches in the world has proved to be invaluable.

After leaving the professional game Dean pursued his playing career here in the North East. He played at semi-professional level in the Northern League for clubs such as Shildon AFC, West Auckland Town, Crook Town, Chester le Street and Seaham Red Star before leaving to travel the world.

​

It was whilst traveling Dean got involved in voluntary coaching in Asia. He then went on to complete over 2000 coaching hours working with children aged 2 to 16, whilst he was working for the two biggest children’s soccer coaching companies in Sydney, Australia.

​

It was on Dean’s return from Australia that he started Pass Soccer Academy to pass on his experience, knowledge and passion for the game to children of all ages and abilities.
