Fun and active football

 

The Mega tots programme is where we start to really explore and develop the skills and techniques your child uses to play football. Your child’s skills and techniques continue to be developed through fun and nurturing games but the games start to become a little more challenging.

 

With your child now in possession of the basic techniques, we play both fun team and individual games enabling our professional coaches to introduce passing and take your child’s first step towards defending.

 

We introduce turning with the ball and mastering controlling the ball with different body parts. We continue to develop skills such as multi-directional dribbling, striking the ball with different parts of the foot and shooting. Our sessions always finish with the most enjoyable aspect of football, scoring goals but this time if our coaches feel that the group is ready, we add a little pressure to the games.

 

Irrespective of what part sport plays in your child's future, we honestly believe the capacity to participate in controlled play, to think outside the penalty box, to concentrate on instructions and visually assess a game will hold them in good stead for the future.

 

Add to this memory improvement, problem-solving and team awareness and your child will be quickly demonstrating all the hallmarks of a well-rounded individual with a wider appreciation of team play.     
 

We have found through our experience your child will develop their skills much quicker in small groups as our professional coaches can give them the much needed attention they need and deserve. That is why we limit our classes to a maximum of 8 children.
